About the data

Sources: openFDA bulk downloads – NDC directory (product and package NDC codes, labelers, ingredients, strengths, marketing categories), drug labels (SPL), enforcement reports (drug recalls) and drug shortages. Data is refreshed weekly.

One label per drug. Many companies repackage the same drug with identical label text. We group products by name and show one representative label – preferring the original NDA/BLA holder and the most recent revision – while listing every NDC product and labeler. Long label sections are shortened; the full label is linked on DailyMed.

Recalls are linked to NDC products when the FDA record or product description contains an NDC code.
